PARIS, France - In a thrilling Champions League quarterfinal second leg, Paris Saint-Germain overcame the odds to defeat Barcelona 3-1 (4-3 on aggregate) and reach the semi-finals.

Playing with an extra man for over an hour after Barcelona's Sergio Busquets was sent off, PSG rallied from a goal down to secure a memorable victory.

Kylian Mbappé continued his impressive form, scoring his fifth goal in the competition this season to level the aggregate score at 3-3. Right back Achraf Hakimi then struck a stunning winner in the 80th minute, sending the PSG faithful into raptures.

Barcelona had taken the lead early in the match through Raphinha, but PSG's numerical advantage proved decisive as they dominated possession and created numerous scoring opportunities.

The victory marks PSG's fourth appearance in the Champions League semi-finals and their first since 2020. They will now face German giants Borussia Dortmund in the final four.

Despite the disappointment, Barcelona can take solace in a strong showing over the two legs. They will now shift their focus to the domestic competitions, where they lead La Liga and are still in contention for the Copa del Rey.
